Diana Brodie is
an award-winning artist who works in watercolor and oil. She
specializes in realistic portraits of people, places, and animals.
Ms. Brodie says: “The likeness is very
important, of course, but it is the essence of the personality
behind the eyes that is the most elusive and rewarding part of
portrait painting.”
Ms. Brodie has also been a jeweler, a professional rock ‘n roll
musician, and is presently an English teacher and Experience Works
volunteer with the Literacy Council of North Central Arkansas.
She lives in Leslie with her seven cats and little dog who provide constant
inspiration for her portrait work.
